Ode to My Kids

Sometimes we get discouraged
Because we are so small
And always leave our fingerprints
On furniture and walls

But everyday we're growing
We'll be grown up some day
And all those tiny handprints
Will surely fade away

So here's a final handprint
Just so you can recall
Exactly how our fingers looked
When we were very small.

Tyranny of the Urgent

Well, I haven't posted for some time now because I guess I have fallen prey to tyranny of the urgent. As I go through that little book and look at Jesus' example (doing the will of the Father) I am trying to weed out the unimportant. Oh, how I want to end this life being able to say, "I have finished the work which You have given me to do." John 17:4b So you may ask then why are you blogging?! Well, I was thinking this morning that I do enjoy it and I so love looking at what is going on in my friends and families lives that maybe I could spend a little time a couple times a month posting on the Kee happenings.

January is coming to an end and I just thought I would give a little update on our household. We thouroughly enjoyed our New Year celebration with the Ney Family and then continued our celebrating with Fish and Ainsley's birthdays. The rest of the month has just disappeared...I am not quite sure where it has gone.

Kevin is working steady. PTL! The Lord is blessing us through these uncertain times and we are choosing to hold tight to His promise in Deu. 31:6....that He will not leave us or forsake us. He(Kev) is doing great and is still the most handsome, wonderful guy in the whole world!!!

I on the other hand, just turned 37, broke my toe a few weeks ago and have recently had my 2nd ear surgery to remove some cancer. It is a good thing that Kev and I are one because I am falling apart. Ha!

The Kee kids are all great! I am so thankful for each one! I will post more on them in a minute.

In Him
